Is Pinterest Right for my business?

As a small business owner, you want to know; what will work for my business? What will bring me more leads? What is worth the investment? I’m right there with you friend! Truth is Pinterest is a super powerful platform, however for some businesses it may not be able to work as many wonders. So how do you know if Pinterest is worth the investment, If Pinterest is right for your business?
Here are 3 guiding questions to ask yourself:
Am I producing New Content? - Pinterest is all about fresh content, directing traffic to help users discover your content, but it needs somewhere to go. Regular content could include things like; blog posts, newsletters, podcasts, freebies, your portfolio and the list goes on. So are you producing fresh content regularly? If the answer is no, then Pinterest may not be the best platform for your business.
Am I online? - Your audience on Pinterest is huge! Literally all over the world. That being said if your business is location based, Pinterest may not be as effective for you. Another thing to think about; Pinterest directs traffic to your website, if you don't have a website, that might be a bit difficult lol.
Is my target audience on Pinterest? The potential audience on Pinterest is huge, it isn’t just a nice place to get inspo for home decor, your dream wedding, what to have for dinner. Men, women, Teens to retirees use Pinterest to actively search for many topics. Is your dream client/ target audience using Pinterest? - Something to think about before you invest.
